The Silence of the Keeper (2026)

A Waystation Novel-Preorder Now Available

Born on the road in the shadow of the Great War, Elsie Myre has a rare gift: she can sense the hidden resonance of human emotion and soothe weary souls with her music. But when a mischievous sprite guides her to a mysterious bookshop with a bright red door, Elsie discovers she has been chosen for a far greater calling.

The Waystation is no ordinary shop. Hidden behind its red door lies a neutral ground between the human world and the realm of the Fae. As its new Keeper, Elsie must oversee delicate trades between desperate humans willing to barter their emotions and ancient Fae who crave those feelings but cannot experience them for themselves.

For the first time in her wandering life, Elsie finds something she has never known before: a home. Alongside the Waystation’s steadfast caretaker, Mrs. Harrow, and August Finch, a thoughtful half-Fae archivist whose quiet kindness quickly captures her heart, Elsie begins to believe she has finally found where she belongs.

But beyond the warmth of the Waystation, something dangerous is growing.

As World War II spreads across the globe, Elsie and August uncover a terrifying conspiracy: tainted novels designed to amplify fear. These corrupted books feed a dark resonance known as Umbrafyrum, a force powerful enough to destabilize the fragile balance between worlds.

If the darkness continues to spread, both worlds may collapse entirely.

And guarding the door between worlds may cost Elsie more than she ever imagined.
